The Birthday Dress

Made from 100% khadi cotton, handwoven in West Bengal.

I designed this dress for a friend's wedding I attended, and now it seems to be the dress I reach for every birthday and special occasion, so I decided to name it ‘the birthday dress’.

It can easily be dressed up or down depending on your mood/ the occasion. - it’s one that whenever I wear it people ask if I’m making more, and finally my suppliers have some more fabric in stock, so the answer is yes!

Fully lined and is the same design as the FIKA dress - it can also be worn on the reverse (a plain blush pink).

Designed, cut and sewn by Sophie at SOFO studio in Somerset.

• Main & lining fabric: 100% khadi cotton - handwoven in Bengal, India.

• Thread: 100% cotton

Wash cool by hand, or on a gentle cycle at 30c max. Always line dry. Avoid drying or storing in direct sunlight. Gently iron on steam setting.

Garment measurements:

XS: bust 91 cm / 36" (approx ~ size 8-10)
S: bust 99 cm / 38" (approx ~ size 10-12)
S/M: bust 103cm / 40” (approx ~ size 12-14)
M: bust 107 cm / 42" (approx ~ size 14-16)
L: bust 115 cm / 45" (approx ~ size 16-18)
XL: bust 123cm / 48" (approx ~ size 18-20)
